The Board of Management of the school, in co-operation with the Principal and Staff, are concerned with the education and growth of the whole child through all his/her potentialities - intellectual, social, emotional, physical, religious, moral and cultural. 
We endeavour, as far as possible, to make the school central to the community and to form a close liaison between staff and parents with consequent benefit to the child's learning and growth. 
Primary School is not only a foundation and preparation for further education and life in general; it is also probably the major part of a child's actual day-to-day life. 
Our ultimate aim is to produce a balanced and competent student working to his/her potential who can progress confidently to further education.

The Board is made up of eight people:
2 Parents nominess - Natalie O'Hanlon and Derrick O'Hanlon
2 Community nominees - Damien Hogan and Marie Ann Gregan
2 Members of the Teaching Staff (one of whom is the School Principal) - Moira McMahon and April Ferns
2 Patrons/Diocesan nominees - John Quinlivan and Bernadette Glynn
