Welcome to Scoil Na Maighdine Mhuire - we are a primary school based in the village of Newmarket on Fergus in Co. Clare.

Scoil Náisiúnta na Maighdine Mhuire was founded in 1959. It is a co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Catholic Bishop of Killaloe catering for children from Junior Infants to Sixth Class. We  have a special class catering for pupils with ASD. At present there are 244 pupils, 17 full time teachers, and 7 Special Needs Assistants.

Our school provides a range of complimentary therapies for pupils at our school including  weekly Speech and Language Therapy (funded by the school), weekly Therapeutic horse riding and Art therapy as necessary. The school motto is: 'Each One Working for the Good of All.' We endeavour to cater for the needs of the whole school community to the best of our ability every day.
